What to Wear
You should wear casual, comfortable clothes and flat-soled close-toed shoes for your course.
Courses start at 10.00am, we ask that you arrive at 9.45am for tea or coffee and to meet your fellow students. The Chef Tutor will run through the menu and goals of the day before you will then start cooking. All of our cookery courses incorporate expert demonstration from our Chef Tutors coupled with hands-on practical cookery training. Each student is assigned their own workstation with induction stove and sink access, apron, knives, chopping boards, utensils, pots and pans as well as all the ingredients you will require for the day so that you can work independently. Cooking with your classmates is still an integral part of your experience and some elements of your dishes you may cook in pairs.
New students will also receive a mymuybueno Cookery School folder to keep all their recipes in, to keep adding to as you partake in more courses with us. At the end of your course you will also receive a Certificate of Attendance. Unless otherwise stated, you will be eating the food that you have prepared for your lunch, if your course day does not include cooking lunch, you will enjoy delicious sharing platters prepared by the school. For all short courses you students will take everything made home.
We offer courses to suit all skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced cooks. The majority of our courses are aimed at the enthusiastic home cook who can follow a recipe and cook a meal. We will teach you everything you need to know to approach all areas of cookery with confidence.
When you book a cookery course with us here at mymuybueno Cookery School, it is important that you select one that matches your current skill level. If you are unsure of your skill level please contact us, as we are here to help.
